Terms of Sale

  • Why does each manufacturer have their own minimum order?
    Each manufacturer imposes their own minimum order, sales below the minimum are deemed to be retail sales.
  • Are the shipping costs free?
    No, we include shipping costs and they are calculated in the cart.
  • Can I make a mix in my order?
    Of course, however, the minimum order threshold for each manufacturer must be reached (€ 200 on average).

Business communication

  • I would like to speak to you before ordering
    Do not hesitate to get in touch with us, if there is a seller in your area we will put you in contact with them, so that you can get the best support we can offer you.
  • When can I contact you by phone?
    Our telephone lines are open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00. If you are unable to contact us by phone, please send an email to info@siendas.it, we will contact you as soon as possible.
  • Are you open all year round?
    We are closed from December 25th to January 1st.

Order Process

  • How can I place an order?
    Through our website, since it is constantly updated (prices, availability, products). Communication errors or misunderstandings on the phone or via e-mail are avoided, and the minimum order for each manufacturer is easily respected.
    Register as a professional with your information and our administrators will validate your access quickly. You will then have access to all our products and our prices.
  • I don't understand the formats or units of the products sold by weight on the website.
    For products sold by weight (cured meats and cheeses), it is ordered by the piece. If you select the number “1” for a Desulo ham, you buy a ham. The price will be adjusted on the invoice based on the final weight.
  • I don't understand the product units on the website.
    The minimum quantity is already set for each product. For example, if you see 6, 15, 30 for an olive oil, it means that it is sold in cartons of 6, 15 or 30 units.

Shipping

  • We offer several shipping methods. We usually ship on pallets, via refrigerated transport if the order contains fresh products.
    We also offer a cheaper and faster solution for dry products in small quantities. For example, if you order 30 kg of pasta and 20 liters of olive oil, we can ship your order through our express shipping partners.
    These proposals will be presented to you at checkout, depending on the weight and content of your cart.

Suppliers

  • If I bought directly from a manufacturer, wouldn't it be cheaper?
    We have distribution agreements with our manufacturers, who will then let us know about your order. Beyond this, shipping and transport must be taken into account, especially the costs but also the problems due to logistics. Siendas allows you to purchase products from nearly 70 different manufacturers, from a single platform and in a single shipment.
    Siendas philosophy is to allow producers to make a living from their work, and to offer the end customer high quality products. A quality product will be more and more expensive because behind it there are men and women who, every day, work with many sacrifices, let's respect them.

Secure

  • What are the payment methods?
    Payment before shipment (by credit / debit card, paypal, bank transfer) for the first orders, for deferred payments please contact us.
  • There is a difference between what I paid on the quote and the final invoice, why?
    A difference may appear between the pro-forma invoice and the final one, mainly due to the actual weights of cured meats and cheeses or to a shortage of stocks. If it is an overpayment, it will be deducted from the next invoice payment; If it is a default payment, it will be added to the next invoice payment.

Customer service

  • The pallet I received is damaged, what can I do?
    Make a precise inventory, in the presence of the driver, and note exactly what is missing on the courier voucher - unit number and product name - the delivery note must be signed by the driver and by you. If the driver says he is in a hurry, don't sign anything and call us. We also advise you to take photos of the pallet / package if possible.
  • What happens when a product is out of stock?
    We will notify you upon departure of the goods and suggest replacements. We do not manage order balances.
  • What should I do if a product is missing or if the product received does not correspond to the one ordered?
    Your request will be processed as soon as possible.
    Do not deliver to the driver a damaged or mistakenly delivered product, couriers do not handle returns. We will study together the best way to solve the situation (with a discount for example).
  • There is an error in my order, do I have to return the goods to the courier?
    No. If there is an error or a breakdown, please send us an e-mail to info@siendas.it, we will offer you a solution within 8 days.
  • I have bought products that I cannot sell. Can you take them back?
    We do not collect unsold items.
  • I received moldy fresh products, what should I do?
    For cold cuts and cheeses in bulk it is normal, these are products that change over time, their crusts are not treated with preservatives. Just clean the product with a dry cloth and rub it with a little oil on absorbent paper. If you have any doubts, do not hesitate to send us a photo to info@siendas.it.
  • I asked to receive the delivery on a specific date / even in the afternoon, or to be called by the driver before delivery, why is this not possible?
    Because carriers deliver on fixed routes, they don't make detours.
  • How does the goods arrive from Siendas?
    On pallets, fully filmed. If the film is not present, it means that the pallet has been tampered with, so be careful and accurately write the name and quantity of the missing products on the delivery note.
  • The driver left me a damaged pallet and didn't want to wait for me to check ...
    Please point out that this is part of his job, by refusing to wait and countersign, we will no longer be able to appeal in the event of a dispute.
  • I have received the pallet and I have not had time to check, the packaging is not compliant ...
    The control of the packaging is essential, without it we do not have the possibility to appeal. You absolutely must take the time to check.

Prices

  • What is your policy in terms of price changes?
    We work with agricultural products, therefore subject to price changes. Our prices change only when there is a change by the producer, up or down.
    To always have updated prices, we invite you to place your orders on our site in the Marketplace section and carefully check your invoices.
